Kayley Robsham's Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + BelongingÂ
My work centers on liberation, nervous-system safety, and returning people to the truest version of themselves. This work is inseparable from a commitment to equity, access, inclusion, anti-oppression, and collective healing.Â1. Education & Continual Learning
I commit to ongoing education in diversity, equity, anti-racism, and trauma-informed practices.
I engage in formal learning with professionals in these fields multiple times per year, and consistently integrate this learning into my client work, curriculum, and community spaces.
2. Inclusive, Anti-Oppressive Curriculum
I partner with consultants and educators with expertise in DEI, anti-oppression, and intersectionality to ensure that all courses, hypnosis sessions, coaching programs, and written materials honor lived experience and avoid replicating harmful narratives, centering agency and autonomy.
3. Values-Aligned Purchasing & Partnerships
Whenever purchasing books, gifts, tools, or client materials, or contracting services, I make a dedicated effort to source from:
-
BIPOC-owned businesses
-
LGBTQIA+-owned businesses
-
Women-owned and nonbinary-owned businesses
-
Disability-owned or inclusive businesses
My commitment is to ensure that at least 30% of all purchases and partnerships come from historically marginalized communities.
4. Equitable Hiring & Collaboration
As my team and business grow, I commit to:
-
intentionally recruiting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically ill individuals for roles, collaborations, and partnerships.
-
prioritizing diverse lived experience and perspectives in content creation, operations, advisory roles, and consulting.
5. Accessibility & Safety
I strive to make my work accessible by:
-
providing closed captions or transcripts whenever possible
-
structuring programs with neurodivergent-friendly flexibility
-
using clear language, predictable structure, and sensory-friendly design
-
honoring boundaries and consent
-
upholding confidentiality and emotional safety
Every client deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected.
6. Ongoing Commitment & Accountability
This is living work. I expect to learn, grow, make mistakes, correct them, and evolve.
I welcome community feedback, suggestions, and accountability as this commitment evolves and changes form.
